GapStack
Terms of Service
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms govern use of GapStack (insight.ventric.co.uk), operated by Ventric Systems Ltd (trading as Ventric) (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, accepting an invite, or using the product, you agree to them. If you use Insight for an organisation, you confirm you can bind that organisation.
Contact: hello@ventric.co.uk · 0330 551 9400. Company number and registered office will be added here when incorporation details are finalised. English law applies; courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere to protect the service.
1. The service
Insight helps agencies and businesses monitor AI search visibility and related SEO signals for websites they manage. Features may include tracked prompts, observations, Search Console and GA4 reporting after Connect, opportunities, reports, and billing plans described in the product. We may change, add, or remove features with reasonable notice where a change is material to paying customers.
Insight provides tools and reporting. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice, and metrics depend on third-party APIs and models that can change or fail.
2. Accounts and access
- Keep credentials confidential. Sign-in is provided via Clerk; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Organisation admins manage members and site access. You must only invite people who are entitled to see that organisation’s data.
- We may suspend access for unpaid invoices, abuse, security risk, or breach of these terms.
3. Google Connect (GSC / GA4)
Connecting Google is optional. If you Connect, you authorise Insight to access Google Search Console and/or Google Analytics data with the read-only scopes shown on Google’s consent screen, for the sites you bind in Integrations. You must only Connect accounts and properties you are allowed to share with Ventric and your teammates.
You can Disconnect in Insight or revoke access in Google Account settings. Disconnect stops live sync; historical synced rows may remain until cleared or the site is deleted, see the Privacy Policy.
Google’s terms also apply to your use of Google services. We are not responsible for Google outages, quota limits, revoked grants, or property permission changes that break sync.
4. Your content and data
You retain ownership of content and data you submit (sites, prompts, competitor lists, connected metrics snapshots, etc.). You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that data solely to provide and secure Insight for your organisation.
You must not upload unlawful material, attempt to probe other tenants’ data, reverse engineer the service beyond what the law allows, or use Insight to spam or scrape in ways that violate third-party terms.
5. Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe as shown at checkout or on the Billing page. Prices are in GBP unless stated otherwise. Taxes may apply. Trials, if offered, convert or end as described in the product. Failure to pay may result in restricted features or suspension. Subject to mandatory consumer law (Insight is aimed at businesses), fees already due are non-refundable except where we say otherwise or the law requires.
6. Acceptable use
- No attacking, overloading, or circumventing access controls
- No sharing login credentials broadly outside your organisation
- No using Connect to pull Google data for sites or clients you do not have authority to manage
- No reselling Insight as a white-label product without our written agreement (agency branded reports for your clients are fine where the feature is enabled)
7. Intellectual property
Insight software, branding (including the Ventric mark), and documentation remain ours or our licensors’. These terms do not transfer ownership. Feedback you give may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
8. Warranties and liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that rankings / AI answers / Google metrics will match any particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages, or for loss of data to the extent caused by third-party APIs. Our aggregate liability arising out of these terms in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for Insight in that period (or £100 if you paid nothing). Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
9. Termination
You may stop using Insight and request account closure via hello@ventric.co.uk. We may terminate or suspend for material breach, prolonged non-payment, or misuse. Sections that by nature should survive (IP, liability, confidentiality of credentials, governing law) survive termination.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after notice of material changes constitutes acceptance, except where the law requires a different process for consumers (Insight is offered for business use).
Privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of how we handle personal data alongside these terms.
